To celebrate its iconic candle Diptyque unveils a sensory and contemplative installation inspired by the 50-hour burn time of its icon. The experience unfolds through a wandering journey along a labyrinthine structure shaped by the Maison’s signature oval. Visitors are invited to pause at the heart of the candle, away from noise and agitation. At the center of the space, the film “Light on, time off.”, conceived as an artistic piece, is presented in an accelerated version accompanying this timeless interlude. It reveals the candle’s combustion in its own temporality: slow, organic, almost hypnotic. This immersive artistic experience within the Palais-Royal embodiest he very essence of a Diptyque candle: a suspended moment in time, where emotion and poetry unfold through the senses.
