CARTE BLANCHE TO THE ARTIST JOËL ANDRIANOMEARISOA 

For its first participation, Diptyque resumes the collaboration begun two years prior as part of the Grand Tour with the artist Joël Andrianomearisoa.​ The Maison gives him carte blanche to create an original work where imagination – the real or dreamed journey, and the perfume L’Autre, hold a central place. ​ Artwork to be discovered from October 18th to 22nd, 2023 in Paris+ by Art Basel at Grand Palais Éphémère

UN AUTRE MONDE, a poetic trilogy

The installation is an invitation to dream of a new elsewhere, infinite and yet specific to each person in accordance with their desire and their intimate geography.

The first work is a monumental metal sculpture-poem, which draws in the gaze and summons the imagination. The second work is a collage in black tissue paper from which wafts the perfume L’Autre, abstractly evoking a garden. The third work, offered to the public, is a careful keepsake: a printed manifesto, a collection of multiple narratives that reveal the artist’s intimate world.
