Craftmanship

Cécile Bichon is a ceramic artist. She lives and works in Paris. Her self-taught approach to ceramics soon led her to experiment and explore the possibilities of earthenware. In her workshop, there is neither modelling nor sculpting; the artist lets the material find its own path and flow naturally until solid. Her work with colour using oxides gives her creations a velvety appearance emanating a pronounced softness.
