Description

Fig tree in all its glory: the freshness of fig leaves, the green fruit, the slightly milky sap, and the bark. A touch of white cedar gives it even sunnier depths.

Ingredients

Fig Leaves, White Cedar, Wood

History

In Greek, Philosykos means the friend of the fig tree, referring to Plato who was wild about these fruits and attributed them with the power to strengthen intelligence. It is in memory of a house that desmond Knox Leet and Yves Coueslant used to live in on Mount Pelion in Thessalie that this eau de toilette was created. The success of Philosykos lies in the natural olfactory balance it exudes, as the whole of the fig tree can be found in it. The leaves and the flower of the fig tree add a touch of green freshness that the woody note of white cedar finishes off. The sap and the resin of the tree are also used to give more complexity to the structure of the perfume.

Glorious scent by Mafis on 7/23/10

I was introduced to Philosykos while living in France 8 years ago, and I still think it's heavenly. The fragance is unique, for the truly original, free and strong woman. There's N-O-T-H-I-N-G that compares...

A friend of the fig by Sankho on 1/22/10

This beautiful scent lights up life. I was taken back to another time; when the learnings of Plato coursed through the intellectual vernacular of a new society.
