Craftmanship

Madoka Rindal is a Japanese artist based in Paris. Very much influenced by the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, she creates ceramics designed as everyday objects. According to her, time gives a particular beauty to the object and dented or chipped it becomes captivating. Each ceramic is handmade, fired and glazed in her workshop in Romainville, near Paris. Madoka thus gives life to her objects by adding a face with a brush. For diptyque, Madoka Rindal has created a set of tableware objects in an exclusive colour.
