Drenched by the sun, the Mediterranean fields of olive groves bring the promise of delicious fruits. The figurative style transports us back to the Golden Age of the city of Vallauris and the stunning canvases of Matisse.
Hand-crafted in a reputed ceramics studio, each piece is hand-painted and signed by the artist.

Craftmanship
Painter and illustrator Matthieu Cossé was born in 1983, in Paris, where he still lives and works today. An active artist, he also collaborates on multiple decoration and illustration projects. Featured at the Design Parade interior design festival at the Villa Noailles, he collaborates on mural decoration projects with the Pierre Yovanovitch agency and Nem Architectes, and creates and produces ceramics with Wedonotworkalone. Several of his illustrations recently appeared in the AD Review, Profane, The Fence and The Surfer’s Journal. His draftsman’s skills have also led him to work with Hermès. For diptyque, he has adorned two exclusive objects‒a bowl and pitcher‒ with forms and decorations inspired by the radiant landscapes and colorful patterns of the Mediterranean.Material
