Made in France

Jean-Baptiste Mayet is a sculptor who’s passion is to work with different types of matter and raw materials in a style that exquisitely fuses the contemporary and graphic. A purist when it comes to shapes and materials, the artist has no patience for the superfluous. The utterly majestic simplicity of his works capture the eye and heart at first sight. Painted wood, fine stones, rock-crystal, gold or silver leaf, natural resins… Mayet loves to compose shapes, colors and materials into an artistic symphony that’s as original as it is repurposed… For diptyque, the artist has created these enchanting candle holders, veritable totems to beauty.
